As many residents have asked about the future of Boulevard Bouchard, here is an update on two key properties that have drawn attention on social media and in community discussions.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udccd\"<\/span> 1. Bell Property<\/div>\n
Initial Plan: The City had been in discussions with the property owners to develop a mixed-density residential project, often referred to as the \u201cmissing middle.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One half of the property was zoned for 2 to 8-storey buildings.<\/div>\n
The other half was planned for townhomes. A 36-meter-wide green linear park was also proposed, centred around Bouchard Creek, to enhance public access and preserve natural features.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Current Status:<\/div>\n
The project has been shelved for at least 2\u20133 years. The building has been re-rented to Bell, delaying any redevelopment.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Initial Interest: The City had preliminary discussions with the property owner, but no formal proposal was ever submitted to Council or Administration.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
